Junior Accountant - Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the overall financial operations of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
- Handle general office duties such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing)
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
