We are a financial services company based in Braga and we are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company's financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience as an Accountant in a corporate setting
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage50
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this contract position. This is an urgent job opening, so candidates who currently hold their own visa are preferred.
