Head Pastry Chef


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Kolding. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative and delicious pastry dishes that meet the restaurant's standards and customer preferences
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth workflow
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menus and incorporate seasonal ingredients into dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques and methods for creating pastries, desserts, breads, etc.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and presentation
- Ability to lead a team and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with other chefs, staff members, and management
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred but not required

Salary:
