Long Haul Truck Driver
We are a trucking company based in Hawalli, looking for a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across Canada. This position is open to Canadian citizens or residents only.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances
- Plan trip logistics and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed
- Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues or incidents to the dispatcher
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Keep accurate records of driving hours, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver (long haul preferred)
- Class 1 or AZ driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to read maps, use GPS systems, and navigate efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in English (French proficiency is an asset)
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs
- Familiarity with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) is an asset

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week plus benefits including health insurance, vacation pay, and pension plan.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with regular hours of work. The job may require irregular hours due to long distance travel. The successful candidate must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as needed.
