Executive Chef


We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Hawalli. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and creating new dishes, as well as excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and assistants
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create new dishes or modify existing ones to keep up with seasonal trends or customer requests
- Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies that meet financial goals while maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage food costs by minimizing waste and controlling portion sizes
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of cost control procedures

Salary: 1400$ (negotiable based on experience)

City: Hawalli

Preference for Indian or Malayalee nationality.

This is a seasonal job with the possibility of extension based on performance. Accommodation is not provided but assistance can be given in finding suitable housing. Applicants must have their own visa.
