Entry Level Debt Collector

As an Entry Level Debt Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses who have outstanding debts and negotiating payment plans or collecting payments. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all communication and payment transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the field of debt collection.

Responsibilities:
- Contact individuals and businesses with outstanding debts through phone calls, emails, or letters
- Negotiate payment plans or collect payments in full
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment transactions
- Provide excellent customer service while adhering to collections laws and regulations
- Update and maintain the database with current information on debtors
- Work closely with team members to meet collection targets

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in debt collection is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult conversations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with collections laws and regulations is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Split, Croatia (accommodation may be provided if needed)
