Metal Fabricator/Assembler


We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/Assembler to join our team in Almada. As a Metal Fabricator/Assembler, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and structures according to specifications. This is an entry-level position, making it suitable for freshers looking to start their career in the metalworking industry.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using tools such as saws, shears, and presses
- Weld or solder pieces together to create a finished product
- Measure and mark reference points on metal pieces for assembly
- Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, or rivets
- Use hand tools and power tools to grind, sand, polish or buff finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in metalworking preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects if needed
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques on the job

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of 1000$ per month.
