DevOps Developer

Our fast-growing tech company in Bergen is seeking an experienced DevOps Developer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in software development, deployment, and maintenance to help us streamline our processes and improve efficiency. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1200$ per week.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or related field
- Expertise in software development, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security protocols
- Biometric passport for international travel (preferred)
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate software releases and deployments using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools like Prometheus or Nagios
- Implement security measures to ensure data protection and system integrity
- Design and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
- Continuously improve processes through automation and optimization
