Game Developer - Contract Position (Odense, Denmark)

As a game developer in our growing team, you will have the opportunity to bring your creative ideas and technical skills to life in our latest gaming projects. Your main responsibility will be to design and develop engaging and immersive gameplay experiences for our players. You will work closely with our design and art teams to create captivating visuals and interactive gameplay elements. We are seeking someone with a strong passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics and programming languages. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement game features and mechanics using various programming languages
- Collaborate with designers and artists to ensure seamless integration of gameplay elements
- Debug and optimize game code for performance on various platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in game development techniques
- Work within project deadlines to deliver high-quality games

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a game developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in C++, C# or other relevant programming languages
- Experience with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine or CryEngine
- Passion for gaming and understanding of different genres and player preferences
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing games for mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya or Blender
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
