Machine Learning Engineer



As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex machine learning algorithms and data models. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth. Your role will involve researching, testing, and implementing cutting-edge machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. You will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing models, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement. This is a remote position, open to applicants from Kenya with strong English proficiency. No prior experience is required, but a background in computer science or related field is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models
- Collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to develop new solutions
- Conducting research on new machine learning techniques and tools
- Maintaining and optimizing existing models
- Identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English
