Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager - Malindi, Kenya
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy. Your main goal will be to maximize hotel sales and exceed targets through effective sales techniques and strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients to ensure repeat business
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends
- Create attractive packages and promotions to attract new customers
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach towards achieving sales goals
- Monitor competition and adjust strategies accordingly
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the hotel industry
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative sales strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Biometric passport required for Indian nationals
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, along with accommodation. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends or evenings when needed.
