Personal Trainer
A personal trainer is a fitness professional who works with individuals to help them achieve their fitness goals. They provide personalized workout plans, nutritional advice, and motivation to clients of all ages and fitness levels. As a personal trainer, you will be responsible for creating individualized training programs and monitoring client progress. This role requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients
- Develop personalized workout plans based on client goals, needs, and abilities
- Provide instruction on proper form and technique
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to their program
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits
- Motivate and encourage clients to reach their fitness goals
- Maintain a clean and safe workout environment for clients
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and research to enhance training techniques
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a personal trainer or in a related field (experience with different types of training such as strength training, HIIT, or yoga is preferred)
- Certification from a recognized organization (such as ACE, NASM, or ISSA)
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise science, and nutrition principles
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively work with clients of all ages and fitness levels
- Ability to motivate and inspire others towards their fitness goals
- Basic understanding of injury prevention techniques
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability for flexible working hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
Location:
This position is located in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands. This remote island nation offers stunning landscapes, unique culture, and a close-knit community.
Part-Time:
This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time hours as client demand increases. The schedule will vary depending on client availability and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays.
Experience:
Previous experience as a personal trainer or in a related field is required. This can include personal training sessions, group fitness classes, or other fitness-related experience.
