We are hiring a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that the restoration projects are carried out in accordance with preservation guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and condition.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals for the restoration project.
- Develop preservation plans that meet both client requirements and preservation standards.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for the restoration project.
- Work closely with contractors to ensure that the restoration work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Monitor progress of restoration work, making sure it adheres to preservation guidelines.
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historical buildings and structures.
- Identify potential risks or challenges during the restoration process and develop solutions to address them.
- Keep updated on current preservation techniques, materials, and technologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Preservation Architect.
- In-depth knowledge of preservation principles, guidelines, and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the restoration project.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
