Loader Supervisor
Location: Os, Norway


We are hiring a Loader Supervisor to join our team in Os, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of cargo from trucks and ships. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role within the logistics or transportation industry.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of loaders and ensure that all cargo is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to loaders based on their skills and abilities
- Train new loaders on proper loading techniques and safety protocols
- Monitor loading processes to identify any potential issues or delays
- Communicate with truck drivers, ship crew, and warehouse personnel to coordinate loading schedules
- Maintain accurate records of loaded/unloaded cargo for inventory purposes
- Enforce safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during loading operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in logistics or transportation is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the logistics/transportation industry
- Knowledge of loading techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects regularly
