Tiler/Tile Setter - Vejle, Denmark


We are hiring a skilled Tiler to join our team in Vejle, Denmark on a contract basis. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for cutting and laying tiles to cover walls, floors, and other surfaces in various structures. Your attention to detail and ability to follow design plans will be crucial in creating beautiful and functional tile installations.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into desired shapes
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix and apply adhesive materials for tile installation
- Lay tiles in a pattern or design using various techniques such as staggering or spacing
- Apply grout between tiles and remove excess
- Install edge strips, corner pieces, and decorative elements as needed
- Seal joints between tiles using caulking materials

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or Tile Setter
- Strong knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, grouts, and other materials used in tiling
- Ability to read design plans and follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy materials
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Experience with power tools such as tile cutters and saws
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating material needs
