Smelter Operator in Osijek, Croatia

We are hiring a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Osijek, Croatia. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment and machinery to melt and refine metals. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces, converters, and casting machines
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure proper melting and refining of metals
- Handle raw materials and charge the furnace with correct proportions of materials
- Monitor the quality of the molten metal using various instruments
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Record production data accurately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Smelter or similar role
- Knowledge of different metals, their properties, and melting points
- Understanding of smelting processes and equipment operation
- Ability to read technical drawings and use basic math skills for measurements
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in hot environments for extended periods
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one if not Croatian national

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this contract position. Accommodation will also be provided.
