Formworker
A dynamic construction company in Horsens is seeking a skilled Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and assembling the molds that shape concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and working with various types of formwork systems. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in all weather conditions. The salary for this position starts at 1100$ per week with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and form specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials according to specifications
- Assemble formwork components to create molds for concrete structures
- Install reinforcing steel rods or mesh if required
- Pour, spread, and level concrete into formwork molds
- Remove forms once concrete has set and clean up work area
- Repair or replace damaged formwork components as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in working with various types of formwork systems such as traditional timber, steel, or aluminum forms
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and ability to read blueprints accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of concrete pouring techniques is an asset
