Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in Vianden. You will be in charge of managing staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual with a strong background in the restaurant industry. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Train and supervise staff to maintain high-quality service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Address customer concerns and resolve any issues that may arise
- Create schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in the restaurant industry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Proficiency in English (additional languages is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience managing Indian restaurants or working with Indian cuisine. This position does not include accommodation, so candidates must be able to arrange their own housing in Vianden.
