Heavy Equipment Operator - Part Time (Alta, Canada)



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a part-time operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist in the construction and maintenance of roads, buildings, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies and procedures
- Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends if needed
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of heavy equipment is an asset

Salary:
This is a part-time position that pays $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, Canada. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
