Executive Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our high-end restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative and delicious menus that meet the expectations of our discerning clientele. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, ordering ingredients and supplies, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and high-quality menus that meet the needs of our restaurant's concept
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure they meet our standards of excellence
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Order ingredients and supplies to maintain inventory levels while keeping within budget guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique dishes using fresh, local ingredients
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
