Job Title: Preservation Architect


We are searching for a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to identify preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies in collaboration with clients, engineers, and other professionals
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Overseeing the implementation of preservation projects, ensuring compliance with historic preservation standards and regulations
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Researching historical documents and materials to inform preservation decisions
- Collaborating with contractors and craftsmen to ensure high-quality workmanship in all preservation projects
- Providing expert advice on the maintenance and upkeep of historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation architecture
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, materials, and technologies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software programs
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, we offer competitive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
