Entry-Level Sous Chef
We are a well-established restaurant in Randers, seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Executive Chef to join our team. As an entry-level Sous Chef, you will assist our Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparation. This is a great opportunity for a recent culinary graduate or someone with no prior professional experience to gain valuable skills and experience in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets our high standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for food, creativity, and willingness to learn
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
