Office Assistant
We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Porto. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate parties
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt of supplies
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- File documents, both physical and electronic
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and record keeping
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, printing, etc.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
