Pastry Chef - Randers, Denmark
We are in search of a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in the beautiful city of Randers. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our menu. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare pastry items for the menu, including cakes, tarts, pastries, and other desserts
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing presentations
- Ensure all pastry items are made with high-quality ingredients and meet food safety standards
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new menu items and specials
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.
