Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our restaurant in Randers. You will work closely with the head chef to design and develop new menu items, as well as maintain the high standards of quality and presentation expected by our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new pastry menu items
- Preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Ensuring all pastries are consistently high quality and visually appealing
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Training and supervising pastry staff members
- Collaborating with the head chef to plan menus and specials
- Adhering to food safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
- Creativity in designing new pastries and desserts
- Strong attention to detail in presentation and flavor
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines for orders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Pastry Chef.
- Fluent in Danish is preferred but not required.
