Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our growing team in Svalbard. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other systems
- Cleaning and preparing data for analysis
- Analyzing data using statistical techniques and software
- Identifying patterns and trends in data to provide actionable insights
- Creating visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions
- Continuously monitoring data quality and making recommendations for improvements
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R or Python
- Experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
Location:
This position is based in Svalbard. While we prefer candidates who are already located in Svalbard or willing to relocate at their own expense, we are open to remote work arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
Visa Sponsorship:
We do not currently offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must arrange their own housing.
