We are hiring a skilled Slinger to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and equipment using cranes or other machinery. Your main duty will be to control the movement of loads to ensure they are placed in the correct location as per instructions from the crane operator or site supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attach and detach loads to and from the crane using appropriate rigging techniques
- Inspect slings, hooks, chains, and other rigging equipment for any defects or damage before use
- Communicate with crane operator through hand signals or radio communication to ensure safe movement of materials
- Direct the crane operator on where to position the load and ensure it is placed accurately in the designated area
- Work closely with site supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or defects immediately
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Slinger in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid certification in rigging and signaling techniques
- Ability to read and understand load charts for different types of cranes
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- A team player with good problem-solving skills

Salary:
1200$ per month
