Job Title: Contract Carpenter in Os, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Carpenter to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Contract Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood and other materials. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per week, with accommodation and transportation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, or sketches to determine specifications and materials needed for projects
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, or hardware using carpentry tools
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Follow safety regulations at all times when handling tools and equipment
- Collaborate with contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals on construction projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using carpentry tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Good knowledge of wood properties and other construction materials
- Physically fit with good balance and eye-hand coordination
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in Carpentry
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Familiarity with building codes
- Knowledge of different carpentry techniques
