Machine Learning Engineer (Contract) - Bergen, Norway
We are in search of a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models that drive our business goals. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify areas where machine learning can be applied to improve processes and enhance overall performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for various projects
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design efficient solutions
- Utilize various programming languages and tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, and Keras
- Conduct data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering tasks
- Perform exploratory data analysis to gain insights and identify patterns
- Test and validate models using appropriate metrics
- Communicate findings and results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R
- Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Keras
- Solid understanding of various machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
