Formwork Specialist

Our construction company in Alta is seeking a skilled Formwork Specialist to join our team. This is an urgent position and candidates with their own visa will be given preference.

As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, and removing formwork for concrete structures. This includes reading blueprints and plans, using hand and power tools, and ensuring accuracy and safety in all formwork installations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Formworker in the construction industry. They should have a strong understanding of formwork systems and techniques, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A high level of physical fitness is required for this role as it involves heavy lifting and manual labor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and plans to determine formwork requirements
- Set up, install, and remove formwork for concrete structures
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and secure materials
- Ensure accuracy and safety in all formwork installations
- Collaborate with other workers on site to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Knowledge of various formwork systems and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills
