As an Entry-Level Turner, you will be responsible for operating machinery to shape and cut metal parts according to specifications. You will work with blueprints, sketches, and manuals to set up and operate lathes, grinders, drills, and other turning machines. Your main tasks will include selecting appropriate cutting tools, adjusting machine speeds and feeds, inspecting finished parts for accuracy, and maintaining equipment in good condition. This entry-level position requires no prior experience in the field of turning but a strong interest in metalworking is preferred. You must have basic knowledge of tools and machines and be able to read measurements accurately.
