We are in need of a skilled Fitter to join our team in Herning, Denmark. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires an individual with excellent technical skills and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Install new mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot existing systems for issues
- Perform repairs or replacements as needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate with team members and managers regarding project progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
