We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in Svalbard. As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting and decorating various surfaces and structures according to project specifications. Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces
- Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors
- Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers to apply paint
- Create decorative finishes such as stenciling or faux painting
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate work schedules

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong eye for color
- Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)
- Valid driver's license preferred
