Contract Information Technology Manager

As a Contract Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology systems and operations of our company in Bergen. Your main duties will include managing the IT team, ensuring the smooth functioning of all technology systems, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

To excel in this role, you should have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, but not required. Experience in project management and budgeting is also desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the IT team and ensure their performance meets company standards
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
- Oversee all technology systems including hardware, software, networks, and security
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend new technologies to enhance productivity
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion within budget and timeline constraints
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in technology
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT manager or similar role (experience in a contract position is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial planning
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, network security, hardware installation/maintenance
