Baker (Contract)


We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Baker and possess a passion for creating delicious baked goods. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake various types of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, icings, and toppings
- Monitor oven temperature and adjust as needed
- Ensure products are consistently high quality and visually appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Baker is required
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality products
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail for decorating and finishing baked goods
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
