Baker for a Bakery in Malindi, Kenya


We are in search of a skilled and experienced baker to join our bakery in Malindi, Kenya. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes. You will also be responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of our products, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.

To excel in this role, you must have previous experience as a baker and possess strong knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients. You should also have excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is crucial in order to achieve consistent quality in our products.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to recipes
- Bake various types of breads, pastries, and cakes
- Decorate cakes with icing or other toppings
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed
- Train new employees on baking techniques
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new recipes

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a baker
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to follow recipes accurately

- Flexible schedule (including weekends)
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
