Entry Level Baker - Malindi, Kenya
We are seeking an Entry Level Baker to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods such as breads, pastries, and cakes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and looking to gain experience in a professional setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes according to recipes
- Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and meet company standards
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely production of baked goods
- Continuously research and experiment with new recipes and techniques
Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Able to work on a contract basis without previous experience
- Passionate about baking with basic knowledge of baking principles
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Good time management skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in a hot environment
