Senior Accountant

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a new opportunity in Oslo? Our company is seeking a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and income statements
- Analyze and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review expenses and revenue to identify any discrepancies or irregularities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and assist with audits
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information for reporting purposes
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications:
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Experience working in a multinational company
- Knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards
- Ability to speak Norwegian fluently

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
