Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal products such as gates, fences, railings, and furniture pieces. You will also be involved in welding and soldering metal components to assemble structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine product specifications
- Operate various machinery and tools such as grinders, saws, and drills to cut and shape metal
- Weld or solder metal components together according to product specifications
- Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy of dimensions and angles
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards
- Repair damaged metal products by cutting out damaged sections and replacing with new pieces
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safety procedures when working with metal materials

Salary:
The salary for this full-time position is $1100 per month.
