Excavator Operator - Urgent Hiring in Atlanta



We are in need of a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Atlanta. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials. Your primary goal will be to ensure safe and efficient operations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavator and other heavy equipment as required on job sites
- Follow project plans and blueprints to determine proper excavation methods and depths
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, compact earth and level surfaces using the excavator
- Load and unload materials such as debris, dirt or rocks onto trucks or other equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate excavation activities

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if needed

We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position. Please note that this is a full-time position without accommodation. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the United States.
