We are seeking a skilled and reliable Instrument Technician to join our team in Funchal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments and equipment used in a laboratory or manufacturing setting. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it an ideal opportunity for students or those seeking additional income.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with instruments and perform necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications and standards
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed
- Order necessary parts and supplies for instrument maintenance as needed
- Follow all safety protocols when working with instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on projects as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals for instrument repair and calibration procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have own set of tools for instrument repair (company will provide specialized tools)
- Availability to work part-time hours with some flexibility in scheduling

Salary: $1600 USD per month (based on 20 hours per week)

Location: Funchal, Portugal (local candidates preferred)
