Librarian (English-speaking) for International Library in St. Petersburg


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our international library in the beautiful city of St. Petersburg. Our library serves a diverse community, and we are looking for an English-speaking librarian who can provide exceptional customer service and support to our patrons.

As a Librarian, your main responsibilities will include managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research requests, cataloging new materials, and organizing library events and programs. You will also be responsible for maintaining the library's budget, overseeing the work of assistant librarians, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in library services.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Library Science or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience working in a library setting. Fluency in English is required, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Experience with electronic databases and knowledge of current library management systems is also preferred.

This position offers a salary of $1300 per month, as well as benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. The schedule for this position may include some evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our patrons.
