Clinical Dietitian

We are currently recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team in Braga. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling to patients with various health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, dietary preferences, and cultural background.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
- Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients with chronic diseases
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of dietetics
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a clinical dietitian
- Experience working with patients with chronic diseases is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Fluent in English (Portuguese fluency is a plus)

Salary: $1700 per month
