Surveyor - Greenland
As a Surveyor in Greenland, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to accurately measure and map out terrain for various construction and development projects. Your main duties will include using specialized equipment to take measurements, analyzing data to create maps and reports, and communicating with project managers to ensure surveying requirements are met. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in remote locations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Collect and analyze data, including elevation, distance, angles, and boundaries
- Create accurate maps and reports based on surveying data
- Communicate with project managers to understand surveying requirements and provide updates on progress
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during surveying activities
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other team members such as engineers and architects on projects that require surveying input
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in using GPS, total stations, laser scanners and other specialized software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Salary:
The salary for this role is $1700 per month.
Location:
This position is based in Greenland. Candidates must have their own visa for working in the country.
