Executive Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in the beautiful city of Herning, Denmark. As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all pastries, desserts, and breads for our restaurant, banquets, and room service. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry and dessert menu items while keeping up with current trends
- Oversee the production of all pastries, desserts, and breads for multiple outlets
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs
- Ensure high quality presentation and taste of all pastry items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create well-rounded menus for events
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role
- Creative mindset with strong knowledge of flavor combinations and presentation techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in training junior chefs
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficient in English (Danish is a plus)
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
