Junior Information Security Analyst


Our growing company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faroe-Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring our organization's information systems and networks to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network traffic for any unusual activity or potential security breaches
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Identify and analyze security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Perform regular software updates and patches to ensure the security of our systems
- Investigate any reported security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with different departments to implement security measures and policies
- Stay updated on the latest trends in information security and make recommendations for enhancing our organization's overall security posture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of networking protocols, software development, system administration, and database management
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Experience with conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this full-time position. We also provide accommodation for our employees if needed.
