Mason - Construction Worker

We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and terraces using various materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing surfaces for construction, and ensuring the structural integrity of your work.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must have own visa to work in Kenya

Responsibilities:
- Constructing walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks or stones
- Repairing existing structures by replacing or repairing damaged parts
- Preparing surfaces for construction by cleaning and leveling them
- Mixing mortar or other adhesives according to specifications
- Laying out patterns or designs according to blueprints or instructions
- Ensuring that structures are level and plumb by using spirit levels or plumb lines
- Using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers to shape or cut bricks or stones
- Cleaning up job site after completion of work

Salary: $1700 per month

This job is suitable for men who have physical strength and stamina. English language skills are not required for this position. The successful candidate must have their own visa to work in Kenya.
