Mason Supervisor


We are seeking a skilled Mason Supervisor for our construction company based in Mombasa. This position is ideal for a Canadian or foreign candidate who is looking to work in Kenya and has experience in masonry work. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of masons and overseeing all masonry projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of masons and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and according to project plans
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Train and mentor new masons on proper techniques and procedures
- Source materials and equipment needed for masonry projects
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments
- Create work schedules for the masonry team
- Keep track of project progress and report any issues or delays to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mason Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of different types of masonry work, including bricklaying, stonework, and plastering
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project plans
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in all projects
- Valid visa/work permit for Kenya (visa sponsorship available)
- Physically fit for manual labor work

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
