Freelance Interpreter



As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services in a variety of settings. This includes but is not limited to: business meetings, legal proceedings, medical appointments, and social events. You will need to have excellent communication skills in both English and the language(s) you specialize in.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings
- Act as a cultural liaison between clients and non-native speakers
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality while interpreting
- Research specialized terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Meet deadlines for assigned projects
- Continuously improve language proficiency through self-study and training opportunities

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English and at least one other language
- Previous experience as an interpreter preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional composure under pressure
- Familiarity with cultural customs and protocol
- Strong research skills for specialized terminology

Salary:
As a freelance interpreter, your salary will vary depending on the number of assignments you take on. On average, our interpreters earn $1500 per month. Payment will be made on a per-project basis.

Location:
This position is based in Roskilde, Denmark. However, as a freelance interpreter, you may have the opportunity to work remotely for some assignments.
