Shaper - Woodworking Specialist (Zagreb, Croatia)



As a Shaper - Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for shaping and carving various types of wood into desired shapes and designs. You will use hand tools and woodworking machinery to create high-quality wooden products such as furniture, home decor, and other custom items.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and woodworking machinery to shape wood according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints or design plans to determine the final product design
- Measure and mark wood pieces accurately before cutting or shaping
- Operate various woodworking machines such as saws, planers, lathes, routers, and sanders
- Sand and smooth finished products for a polished look
- Apply finishes such as varnish or paint to protect and enhance the appearance of the final product
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role in the woodworking industry
- Proficiency in using hand tools and woodworking machinery
- Ability to read blueprints or design plans accurately
- Detail-oriented with excellent measuring skills
- Strong knowledge of different wood types and their properties
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking is a plus

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month.
